Signs of global change - What have you noticed?

One of my 3 largest concerns is about nature. Environmental perspectives helped me put my experiences into context. This summer I was vacationing in Germany and it broke my heart to see the drying up of the Rhine. The years of lack of rain left the ground so dry that vast areas of evergreen trees died. This was contrasted by the beautiful, awe of nature in the Fjords of Norway. The contrast brought into awareness the high costs of our financialized industrial civilization. Winters have less snow, new bugs, and disease continue to spread north. What have you noticed to suggest our environment is struggling? What can you personally do to help it? Lets Talk?
