Legacy and Being a Good Ancestor

Sometimes I worry that, as a 17-year-old, I have no meaningful ideas to bring to the table. However, I would describe myself as a quiet leader who takes a solution-focused approach.
When I took part in several “warm data” disscusion labs, I felt not only nervous but also intimidated. I was scared to speak to such well-recognized leaders in their field. I was uneasy about my knowledge base, but I knew that a hundred silly ideas can create a new concept, a new model, a solution.
I needed to encourage and remind them that we will all make mistakes. I began my conversation allowing myself to be vulnerable. By pushing myself through this wall of intimidation, I was able to rally together supporters of my mission and connect the perspectives across generations.
As a result of challenging myself to go outside my comfort zone, I was invited to take part in conversation held by; Pass-it-on-Network, 7-Generation, and International Society for the Systems Sciences Conference 2022-Argentina, all to generate more dialogue about the issues that affect all of us. Can you push yourself out of your comfort zone and make connections or support change?
